description: AIAA Design Build Fly competition assigned three main objectives all of which required the aircraft to demonstrate a wide range of abilities. Multiple trial and error type experiments were performed in order to determine the optimal carbon fiber fabrics for each subsystem component of the aircraft. Through the given AIAA parameters in partnership with the teams structural analysis, WITAero was able to deduce viable manufacturing processes that best suited our design scope. In parallel with the immense focus on ease of manufacturability, the team also focused heavily on an electronic system that allowed for ease of accessibility. In doing so we concentrated on space allocation, access points, and plane balance.
